The 2017 season of Wide Open Wednesday Presented By AAA Insurance at Gateway Motorsports Park’s Dragplex in Madison, Illinois will begin on May 3. The popular mid-week test ‘n’ tune sessions also will include added attractions — Street Bike Shootouts and High School Drags — beginning May 3. It costs only $30 to test a car or motorcycle from 6:30-10:30 p.m. Adult spectator admission is $10 and kids 15 and younger are free. Gates open at 4:30 p.m.

August 23 – Closed for IndyCar race set-up.

4:30 p.m. — Gates open.

5-8 p.m. — Fuel sales.

5:30-9 p.m. — Concession stands open.

5:30-6:30 p.m. — Exclusive slick tire testing.

6:30-10:30 p.m. — Open testing.

7-7:30 p.m. — Time trial for race classes (High School, Street Bike Shootout).

8 p.m., 8:30 p.m., 9 p.m., 9:20 p.m., 9:30 p.m. — Eliminations for race classes.

10:25 p.m. — Staging lanes closed.

10:30 p.m. — Track closed.

11 p.m. — Pits swept, gates locked.

 

Entry fees and spectator admission:

Racer tech card: $30.

Adult spectator: $10.

Restricted-area wristband for crewmembers: $15.

Kids 15 and under: Free.
