The NHRA AAA Midwest Insurance Nationals is an NHRA Countdown to the Championship event, or the “playoffs” of professional drag racing.  Drivers and their teams are 2015 national championship title in four major categories: Top Fuel Dragster, Funny Car, Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle. The St. Louis event is the next-to-last race on the 2015 NHRA J&A Service Pro Mod Drag Racing Series schedule, and the second of six Mello Yello championship events.
