The 2019 drag racing season will kick off on Saturday, March 23 at Gateway Motorsports Park in Madison, Illinois.

GMP will host two open Test ‘n’ Tune sessions this month: on March 23 and March 30. Gates will open at 9 a.m. Test ‘n’ Tune will run from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Entry fee is $40 (car or bike and driver or rider). Adult spectator admission is $15.


March 23 and March 30 schedules

9 a.m. — Racer gates open.

10:30 a.m. — Tech inspection, fuel sales and concession stand open.

11 a.m. — Test ‘n’ Tune.

2 p.m. — Tech card sales conclude.

2:30 p.m. — Tech inspection, fuel sales and concession stand closed.

5 p.m. — Last call to staging lanes.

5:30 p.m. — End of racing.

6 p.m. – Track closed.


Spectator admission, entry fees:

Car and driver (or bike and rider): $40.

Adult crew or spectator pass: $15.

Kids (8-15): $5.
