“Words cannot describe the sadness of losing a driver as great as Bryan. When we first learned of his accident on Saturday night, our entire staff and racing community hoped and prayed for the best.
“Bryan was special. He would race anything, anywhere, anytime. We were fortunate in that he frequently raced in our area and, with him attempting to race 200 times this season, we could see him every couple of weeks on the numerous short tracks in the area. Bryan was a winner at Gateway Motorsports Park and we were looking forward to seeing him in action again on our oval. To short track fans around the country, Bryan was our guy. Bryan was the driver we wanted to see break through to superstardom. But at the same time, we wanted to see him racing on dirt tracks multiple times each week.
“Earlier this year Bryan and his fiancée Lauren Stewart became promoters and we were proud of their success in packing the event center at Duquoin for an indoor event. Bryan gave more to the sport than he ever took from it. He will be missed and our hearts are breaking over the news of his passing.
“Please keep Bryan’s family and friends in your thoughts and prayers.”
