Midnight Madness Opening Night – Tech & First Run Procedures

NEW TECH AND FIRST RUN PROCEDURES FOR MIDNIGHT MADNESS OPENING NIGHT

In an effort to streamline the tech inspection and initial run process for Midnight Madness at Gateway Motorsports Park.  Officials have announced the following entry and staging lane procedures for opening night on Friday, March 15, 2013.

Facility entry:All participants will enter Gateway Motorsports Park from Collinsville Road.  Participants are to follow the orange/west road and loop around the oval.  Gateway Motorsports Park will have 3 ticket windows open.  Please note that the ticket window closest to Highway 203 is designated as cash only).

Tech Inspection:  Upon purchasing tech cards and credentials, racers will proceed to staging lanes 1 & 3 for tech inspection and waiver signing.  Once your vehicle has passed tech inspection and you have received your participant wristband, your vehicle will be pulled from staging lanes 1 & 3 for your first run of the evening.   After completing the first run, racers will return to staging lanes 4-5-6-7 for additional runs.

 

Staging Lane Assignments:

Lane 0: Open access lane

Lane 1: Tech Inspection (left lane for first time run)

Lane 2: Pull through lane for tech

Lane 3: Tech Inspection (right lane for first time run)

Lane 4: Open Staging

Lane 5: Open Staging

Lane 6: Grudge Staging (for racers with a pre-determined opponents)

Lane 7: Grudge Staging (for racers with a pre-determined opponents)

Lane 8: Open access lane

 

Schedule of Events

Gates Open: 7 p.m.

Racing: 8 p.m.

Tech Inspection:  7 p.m. – 12 a.m.

Conclude: 2 a.m.
