Menards, recognized as the third largest home improvement retail chain in the U.S., has acquired naming rights to the Manufacturers Chevy Series television show that will air on Velocity in the fourth quarter of 2015. The Menards Chevy Series will feature up-close footage of the most outstanding restored Chevy’s from throughout the U.S. each Saturday in October, November, and December at 9:00 a.m. EST on Velocity.  The first show airs on Saturday, October 3 and runs consecutively through Saturday, December 26, 2015.

Menards Chevy Series will highlight some of the most outstanding Corvettes, Chevelles, Camaros, and all Chevy varieties from late model to current that their owners have dedicated time and materials to set them apart from daily drivers.  Many of the cars have been restored by military veterans and others from general hobbyists too people in the automotive aftermarket industry by trade.

The shows are filmed on-site at a dozen of the nation’s finest motorsports facilities including Palm Beach, Memphis, Tucson, Dallas, Denver, Petersburg, VA , Martin, MI, Reading, PA, Bristol, TN, St. Louis, Rockingham, and Bakersfield. Selected shows also include  footage of high speed drag racing from some of the fastest Chevy’s in the country.

Menards has long been a retail destination for motorsports fans due to their promotions with teams in NASCAR, ARCA, IndyCar, and NHRA, with its sponsorship of the muscle car series on TV being an extension of that theme to all automotive enthusiasts.

Several brands available in Menards stores such as True Science pet health also support the automotive series and participate in the TV show to highlight its products.  The Minties Top Dog Award by True Science was very popular at each car show as it recognized a premium car selected by judges.
