July 2 – Mike Eggleston of Highland, Illinois enjoyed a profitable weekend at Gateway Motorsports Park’s Dragplex. On Saturday, Eggleston won the $2,000 JEGS Super Quick final, then scored the ET Bracket Series Super Pro win on Sunday. Eggleston defeated George Atchison of Centralia, Illinois to win the big check from JEGS, then returned Sunday to face Collin Becker of Ballwin, Missouri in the Gateway ET Bracket Series’ final round of eliminations.

Jason Hamstra of Demotte, Indiana singled in the Midwest Pro Mod Series final Saturday after opponent and No. 1 Qualifier Keith Haney broke a transmission.
