Reserved pit spots go on sale Wednesday, March 27 for 2012 space holders.  Space sales open for general sale on Friday, March 29.

March 25, 2013

Madison, Illinois – At the request of the racing community, Gateway Motorsports Park will once again offer reserved, premium pit spaces for the 2013 season at the NHRA sanctioned drag strip.  The reserved space program will provide racers with the opportunity to secure their favorite pit spot for all ten bracket points events, all 28 Wide-Open Wednesday Test ‘n’ Tunes and the majority of Gateway special events such as Super Chevy Show, Fun Ford Weekend, Mega Mopar Weekend, The All American Hot Rod Showdown, and both Megabucks weekends.

The Gateway Motorsports Park pit area was recently resurfaced and striped.  These improvements and layout changes will greatly enhance the racing experience.  Each space is 75’ x 24’ unless otherwise designated.

Reserved spot holders from the 2012 season will receive the first opportunity to secure a spot from the new pit layout for the 2013 season.  Exclusive renewal sales for 2012 holders will go on sale Wednesday, March 27 at 10 a.m.  and will continue until 5 p.m. on Thursday, March 28.

Following the exclusive renewal purchase period, the remaining spots will go on sale Friday, March 29 and will continue through the 2013 season.  Despite the pit area and facility improvements, there is no increase in the price of reserved spot.  All spaces will be sold for $150.

Racers are encouraged to review the attach map prior to calling the Gateway Motorsports Park ticket office to make their purchase.  Spaces can also be purchased in-person at the Gateway ticket office during normal business hours.
