February 13, 2019, St. Louis Region – Officials at Gateway Motorsports Park’s drag strip in Madison, Illinois, have extended the 2019 NHRA chassis certification due to popular demand. In order to ensure as many racers as possible have the opportunity to have their cars certified, the chassis certification has been extended to a second day: Sunday, March 17.

The second day will be limited to 32 slots, beginning at 8 a.m. Drivers who already are scheduled for Saturday must remain in their current slot. The additional Sunday session is a courtesy extended to those who were unable to get in before the slots filled.
