- *Please be advised that in order to access the return road, the area in front of the tower and to accompany a car to the starting line, you MUST have a restricted area crew pass and you can only enter that area while your car is in competition. Due to misuse, these areas have become extremely crowded on Wednesday nights and this change in policy was necessary. Restricted area wristbands will only be given to crewmembers presenting a ‘restricted area receipt’ at registration.
- Racers wanting a .4 Pro Tree must go to lane 3 during the evening. Please put a “PT” on your front window so our staging lane staff can identify you.
- Battle of the Bikes – Gateway Motorsports Park will present a trophy for the quickest (best elapsed time), fastest (biggest mile per hour) and best reaction time during the 10:15 p.m. ‘Battle of the Bikes Showdown’ pass. Only the 10:15 p.m. session will count toward the award. Battle of the Bikes will be featured each week. This week it will be contested on a .5 Full Tree.
- Eliminations –Trophy and Gambler will not be contested this evening. Our only elimination class tonight will be High School. Trophy and Gambler will return next week.
- Please be advised that we enforce a 15 mile-per-hour pit area speed limit. Also, dry launches and burnouts are only permitted in the water box.
- Fighting, verbal threats, shouting profanity and any other disorderly behavior will not be tolerated and offenders will be ejected from the facility.

Weekend racing action at the Super Chevy Show will include the Pro Mod Challange, featuring the short wheelbase, “Ground Pounding” coupes, and some of the fastest Jet Cars in the country competing head-to-head in a battle between the beautiful Larson Ladies.

In addition to three categories of competition for cars, a motorcycle category is featured. Racers compete for points and cash awards. Drivers who earn the most points are eligible to compete for individual and team honors at Indianapolis Raceway Park.

The 3000GT/Stealth National Gathering is the largest 3S specific event in the world. This is a full auto event not just a car show. Get your car off the street and on to our nationally-sanctioned drag strip with street-legal drag racing or drifting until 2:00 AM. You can compete against your friends, show off what your car has in it, watch the Battle of the Boards racers, dance to the music, or just hang out with the crowd.

Fun Ford WeekendJul 19 – Jul 21 (all-day)
Gateway Motorsports Park is launching a show car and racing program in 2013 to be named, The Manufacturer Series. It consists of four separate, but connected events. The first event, scheduled for May 17–19, will be the highly anticipated Monster Mopar Weekend At Gateway, part of the Mega Mopar Action Series. Following this event will be the Super Chevy Show presented by your Mid-America Chevy Dealers on June 21–23. The Fun Ford Weekend will run July 19–21. Finally, an all make and model inclusive final called the All American Hot Rod Showdown presented by your Mid-America Chevy Dealers will be held August 9–11. At the All American Hot Rod Showdown, all past series winners and champions will compete for the coveted Gateway Grand Champion title. Grand Champions will be crowned in the show car and drag racing arenas.
Each event will feature a car show, swap meet, drag racing, car corral, auto cross, manufacturer midway, ride and drive, and featured shows such as jet cars and more. All four events will tie together with individual competitions for prizes, awards and payouts as we have traditionally seen at the track. “The unique thing that we are doing next year is bringing everything together,” says Francois. It will be exciting to follow the car show and drag competition finalists and semi-finalists throughout the season as they attempt to qualify for the All American Grand Championship Title in August.”
Car show winners from each class of the previous shows will compete for the All American titles in Custom, Modified, and Stock classes with an overall American Grand Champion being crowned and a cash prize exceeding $2,500. Finalists and semi–finalist in Box, No Box, Sportsman, and True Street categories from all three events will compete for the All American Championship Titles within their respective classes and then compete against each other for The All American Grand Championship Title and payout exceeding $5,000.
Other American makes and models such as Buick, Cadillac Oldsmobile, and Pontiac will also be able to compete with a chance to win the All American Hot Rod Showdown presented by your Mid-America Chevy Dealers. A portion of the proceeds from each of the events will be donated to selected charities.

Color Me Rad 5K RunJul 28 (all-day)
When Zoloft and balloon animals can’t seem to raise your spirits, the best way to brighten your life is to run Color Me Rad 5K. Historically, running has only been acceptable when trying to escape the law, personal responsibility, the truth, and grizzly bears. Instead of running FROM something, get ready to run FOR something at this year’s Color Me Rad. Color Me Rad is coming to Gateway Motorsports Park with a tsunami of color that’ll make colored tears of joy run down your cheeks and will renew your will to live.
After 5K of color bombardment, we guarantee your outlook will be brighter, your boyfriend will be more affectionate, your girlfriend will be less needy, the hair on your head will grow back and the hair on your back will fall out, your black and white TV will turn into 720p HD (I know you were hoping for 1080, but we organize races, we’re not miracle workers), and your gray outlook will turn green like a spring morning. You’ll start off with a shirt as pure and white as your grandpa’s dentures and you’ll soak up enough color while running to change your skin tone forever. How it works:

All American Hot Rod Showdown & 2013 Super Car Reunion Presented by Your Mid-America Chevy Dealers @ Gateway Motorsports ParkAug 9 – Aug 11 (all-day)
Gateway Motorsports Park is launching a show car and racing program in 2013 to be named, The Manufacturer Series. It consists of four separate, but connected events. The first event, scheduled for May 17–19, will be the highly anticipated Monster Mopar Weekend At Gateway, part of the Mega Mopar Action Series. Following this event will be the Super Chevy Show presented by your Mid-America Chevy Dealers on June 21–23. The Fun Ford Weekend will run July 19–21. Finally, an all make and model inclusive final called the All American Hot Rod Showdown presented by your Mid-America Chevy Dealers will be held August 9–11. At the All American Hot Rod Showdown, all past series winners and champions will compete for the coveted Gateway Grand Champion title. Grand Champions will be crowned in the show car and drag racing arenas.
Each event will feature a car show, swap meet, drag racing, car corral, auto cross, manufacturer midway, ride and drive, and featured shows such as jet cars and more. All four events will tie together with individual competitions for prizes, awards and payouts as we have traditionally seen at the track. “The unique thing that we are doing next year is bringing everything together,” says Francois. It will be exciting to follow the car show and drag competition finalists and semi-finalists throughout the season as they attempt to qualify for the All American Grand Championship Title in August.”
Car show winners from each class of the previous shows will compete for the All American titles in Custom, Modified, and Stock classes with an overall American Grand Champion being crowned and a cash prize exceeding $2,500. Finalists and semi–finalist in Box, No Box, Sportsman, and True Street categories from all three events will compete for the All American Championship Titles within their respective classes and then compete against each other for The All American Grand Championship Title and payout exceeding $5,000.
Other American makes and models such as Buick, Cadillac Oldsmobile, and Pontiac will also be able to compete with a chance to win the All American Hot Rod Showdown presented by your Mid-America Chevy Dealers. A portion of the proceeds from each of the events will be donated to selected charities.
Also at this event we will be hosting the 2013 Annual Supercar Reunion – Included will be Racing, Car Show Display Area, Exhibition Racing, and much more to be announced for the Special Supercars!
