January 11, 2019, 5 p.m. — Gateway Motorsports Park’s NHRA-sanctioned drag strip in Madison, Illinois, will honor its Carl’s 4WD & Performance Center bracket racing series champions at its annual banquet on Saturday, January 19. The banquet originally was scheduled for January 12 but was postponed due to the snow storm that blanketed the region.

GMP drag strip 2018 champions include: Angelo Belosi (Super Pro), John Tignor (Pro), Brad Kaemmerer (Sportsman), Charles Willis Jr. (Super Pro Motorcycle), Cohen Hale (Jr. Dragster Thunder) and Luke Albietz (Jr. Dragster Thunder and High School). 

The banquet will be held at the Four Points Sheraton, 319 Fountains Parkway, in Fairview Heights, Illinois. Doors will open at 6 p.m. with dinner at 6:30, awards at 7 and entertainment from 8:30-10:30.
