Madison, Illinois – Festus, Missouri driver Scott Cook took top billing as he took the wins in both the Jeg’s Super Quick and NHRA Super Comp categories at the NHRA Spring Sportsman Challenge at Gateway Motorsports Park.  The event was the official kick-off to the start of the 2013 racing season for both the St Louis metro area racing facility as well as the 25th anniversary of the Jeg’s Super Quick Series.
A total of 477 race entries from 8 states were on hand for the 2-day event that featured racing in multiple NHRA and local racing categories.  The Jeg’s Super Quick class featured 81 racers attempting to qualify for the 64 car field.
